Club Liberty was founded to develop young leaders who are willing to think seriously, lead courageously, and serve the people around them.
Club Liberty is an independent, student-led civic organization founded in 2026 at California Lutheran University.
We develop young leaders through civic engagement, leadership development, community service, faith, and meaningful action.
We believe ideas matter, but they matter most when they shape how we live and how we serve.
Club Liberty began after an effort to establish another national civic organization at California Lutheran University did not move forward.
Rather than simply recreate what already existed, we began asking a larger question: what should a civic organization actually do for the people it hopes to serve?
That question connected with a deeply personal inspiration: the dream of serving children and families in Mexico through food assistance, community projects, and opportunities to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
From there, Club Liberty became something broader. A student-led organization where civic engagement, leadership, faith, and service belong together.
That question should shape how we lead, how we disagree, how we serve, and how we treat the people around us.
Defending the ability of people to think, speak, believe, and participate freely.
Leadership should create meaningful benefit for other people.
Standing for principles with courage and intellectual seriousness.
Preparing young people to take responsibility and lead with purpose.
Encouraging informed participation in public and community life.
Taking ideas seriously while treating people with dignity.
Serving people because every person deserves care and respect.
Allowing Christian principles to shape our character and service.
Club Liberty is rooted in conservative principles while remaining institutionally independent from political parties.
We believe young people should learn to evaluate ideas on their merits rather than treating politics as loyalty to a party label.
Club Liberty does not endorse or campaign for political candidates. Our focus is civic education, leadership, public service, civil discourse, and community impact.
Our long-term vision is to build a national network of student leaders while developing service and humanitarian projects that can reach communities far beyond campus.
Student-led chapters centered on civic engagement, leadership, and service.
Supporting children and families through food programs and community aid.
Supporting schools, students, supplies, and educational opportunities.
